Full Version: Barco 1208/2 port5 upgrade (Failed)

I tried to upgrade the 1208/2 port5 and input selector system boards to the later versions found in 1208s/2, 1208s/E, 1209s type projectors.

They are NOT a direct swop.

I then went on to swop the controller as well as that would have the control system for the newer cards.

Again this failed.

The unit powered up from the internal remote BUT no HV powered up and no control over the unit.

NO damaged was caused but I was unable to upgrade the port5 system.


This was done as a "whilst I was testing various boards" I did not look deeply into this, or even look at the schematic - which I really should have!

I was a new design. WE do a complete change of the board when you do the mod
