I read but could not exactly follow on AVS some description of the port 3 mods for the 808. I have an 808 and a John Wyman transcoder, which is working well and I would like to keep. But I understood that Eisemann can further modify the port 3 board to sharpen the picture that I am getting thru the transcoder.

Can you describe the mod and the relevant cost? And is there a loaner card available during the conversion? Thx.

Hi yes we have a complete Bandwidth upgrade for John Wyman Transcoder. Many people have ordered it.

We need your port 3 card and John Wyman transcoder along with the switcher card.



If you do not do the full 7 board mod we can do this upgrade for $585.00. Yes we have a loaner but we would like to slightly modify John's Card to remove the Ring Caps he places on his card. These caps reduce the BW that cause a week 1080p image. After removal we then fine tune the ring and other items righ on the new board to acheive the best image. This picture is amazing after the mod is complete.
