The 1200 unit has one board that cannot be mod ed because it is not sheilded. We have to take a card out of a newer barco and mod that.



we might make a sheild to fit onto the back for testing. But have not tested that as of yet.



See the new V5 uses special 5 GHZ parts that are much more sensitive than the orginal Barco components so they pick up everthing. It helps the picture and you pick up every detail but the old unsheilded boards you get a ghost effect with noise. Becuase they get too much cross talk. We might try a sheild on the back to see if that fixes the issue.



With the orginal components however both boards are the same. They peform the same and resolve the same image. Both versions of the boards use the same parts as well.



I suspect Barco later added sheilding to improve noise levels in the projector.
